Hey Buddy,

Sorry I didn't get to Pensacola any more often than I did.  I'll see you in the resurrection, you, your Mother and that burly Dad of yours, good ol' Howard, as well as the other 43 already listed in memory.  That day we sat under that oak tree in Pensacola,  and you were concerned about your Mother and Dad, and I reassured you that they will have a hope of a resurrection because of the fact that we are assured that "the wages sin pays is death",Romans 6:23.  I know you are resting in death and what a surprise you'll have when Christ Jesus resurrects you right back here on the earth.  You'll be able to take advantage of that hope at Psalm 37:29,  where it tells us, "The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it."  We were told at Acts 24:15 that "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."  So even if you didn't feel like you might have died as one of the righteous, you see that you still have an opportunity to prove yourself as one of the righterous after that resurrection."

We really had good times together.  What a trip we made in that GTX of yours to Pryor Oklahoma the week before we graduated.  I never did tell you that I was going 135 mph just before we had that blow out on the front left tire... heh heh heh  As a matter of fact, I didn't tell anyone till Mr. T. retired about my buying him floormats for his new 1968 Pontiac Convertible to be able to be exempt from his Texas history test, so I could go to Pryor with you.....  The things people didn't know... heh heh heh ...  Douglas, since I know that you ARE sleeping in death, this message isn't really for you but for those that might read it later.  Maybe they too will be able to take advantage of the hope that lies ahead. for more information
